Pretty great CD with a low $500 minimum deposit! This Fahey Bank CD Account will offer a wide range of APY Rates on your funds depending on the term length and funds! If you currently have a savings account at your local bank, compare the rates! What you’ll find is that you’re only earning 0.01% APY (maybe a pinch higher) at your brick and mortar branch! Hi….I tried to open a CD at Fahey Bank (for which you wrote that it is FDIC insured, with no other restrictions), but when I called the bank, they told me they DO NOT ALLOW CD’s to be opened by Customers in any other states, outside of OHIO!! They didnt really have any explanation, except to say that is their policy & they just prefer to stay a small local bank!! I’ve never heard of this, but I think you should definitely put this in your comments/ restrictions about this bank!! They also said to get your published CD rates, an Ohio resident needs to also open up a checking account. Not recommended!
